5birds is finally finished

Last couple of days have been creating backgrounds,especially in my oversized visual journal- which is actually a wallpaper sample book. Working with colours which are a complemented split on the colour wheel then overlaying with a contrasting colour and scraping the wet paint.

I don’t think I scraped enough.

I was worried about ideas. Because I didn’t have any. Turns out they were just tucked away waiting for when I had the time and headspace.

Excited to get up and paint in the morning.

I have some unfinished business with glitter.

Colour blocks in my journal and sanding the gourds we grew.

Cleaned the office/studio. Made space for all the making.

Make a noise. Make marks. Make a decision.
